BEWARE
There are a lot of new posts ahead. I got really behind and wanted to catch up, so I did it all at once.
I take way too many pictures!!
For those of you who read this, you really don't have to look at all of these pictures. There really is nothing to them. It is just me wanting to capture every minute of my kids life. So, if you want to skip past this post, I totally understand.
This is Josh's favorite picture. He has on a Boston Red Sox shirt, Nike shoes and he is holding a Utah State basketball.
Taking a bath at Grandma Rohwer's.
Pulling a funny face.
Yummy Olive Garden bread stick.
Drake's first Jeep ride.
I absolutely love this gappy, toothy grin!
He thinks it is pretty cool that he can show us how old he is going to be!
A Day of No Labor, Just Fun
We went up Logan Canyon for a cook out on Labor Day. It was the first time we had done this all summer. It was really fun and it actually felt good to smell like a camp fire.
Boston, Elli and Grandma
Aunt Holly and Drake
Hannah and Elli with those HUGE marshmallows. Those things are sweet!
Mckay and Hannah. Mckay can never take a serious picture. Lets hope when he gets married one day he doesn't look like this in his announcement.
LHS Homecoming Week
Last week was Homecoming week at LHS. It was so much fun to watch Lauren participate in all of the fun activities. I have to admit, I enjoyed reminiscing of all my fun memories I made during my Homecoming Weeks at LHS.
Lauren was nice enough during her busy week to take a break and spend some time with her Nephew.
She was in the Homecoming Parade on Wednesday.

Mom, Drake and Me at the parade.
He enjoyed a few Tootsie Rolls.
Friday Lauren performed at the pep assembly and then later that night at the football game half time. It was fun to watch her dance. She did great and even had a solo tumbling part! The football game was fun, and Drake enjoyed it as well. Logan High won.... GO GRIZZLIES!
When we were leaving the game we ran into Drake Self. I went to the Self's house after Drake was born to have them meet him, and only Sue was there. She was excited to see him, but was anxious for Drake (her husband) to see him as well. So finally 10 months later they met! If our Drake grows up to be anything like this man, we will be happy!
It was a fun week and made me realize that even though I am married with a kid and time has gone on..... I still bleed Crimson and Gold!!!
Toot My Own Horn....Part 1
I am totally going to brag and toot my own horn. A couple of weekends ago, Josh left with his friends to Colorado. I decided I needed a project to work on and thought I would get started on refinishing a sewing table. Well, I told my Grandpa about this project and he was all for helping me out and we got it done in two days. It was so much fun to do, just my Grandpa and Me.

Sanding the table.

I started painting everything in sight.

My Grandma gave me this old recliner that was my Great Grandma Haslam's. It is in perfect condition. I thought I was going to have trouble finding a cute pillow that would go with the chair and some of the other colors in the room. Hayley helped me find this one at Tai Pan. It is so cute and matches perfectly!
I am currently in the process of recovering a cushion on another old chair. It is going to be pretty dang cute when it is finished. Let's just hope I get it done soon! I have a lot of sewing projects that need finished, and I need the chair to sit on.
Flu Shots and Embarrassment = Suckers
We went a couple of weeks ago and got our flu shots. I was really dreading this. I hate watching Drake get shots. Not because the shots bug me, but him crying afterwards breaks my heart. I was so happy to see the nurse had a sucker for him! He cried for just a second until that sweet nectar touched his tongue. After that he was a happy camper!
After the flu shot.

This is where the embarrassment part comes in. My child is going to hate me one day. Ha ha ha but seriously I bet you are laughing at this picture as well.

And..... he was dang happy he got another sucker because of it!
Anniversary And Birthday All In One Day!!

We had a great day on the 14th. We are celebrating our anniversary this week by going to San Diego just the two of us. We are really excited to get away and have fun and relax together. Even though we are doing that, we decided to treat ourselves on our actual anniversary and went to Hamilton's for lunch.

Drake came with us to lunch and he was treated as well. He ate penne macaroni and cheese, halibut and creme brulee. He was in heaven.
Later that evening we headed out to Cooper's birthday party. Many of you may remember the day we got married, we also received a nephew the same day. That kid is now 3 years old and as cute as ever.
Drake and Grandma Barb. My mom thinks they look alike!

Happy 3 Year Anniversary
Happy Anniversary Josh! This has been the best 3 years of my life. I love you so much and am so grateful you are my husband. You are a good man! I can't believe it has been 3 years. I am so grateful!!
I am so lucky to even have my blog right now. I changed my email address from hotmail to gmail. When I got my gmail account, that also opened a new google account. I only wanted one, so I changed my email address on my blog to my new one and transfered information from my google reader to the other one and deleted my old google account. Well I didn't even think about it, and by doing that I erased my blog as well. I have been physically sick over this and have tried everything possible to get my blog back. I have emailed a ton of people who work for google, I have filled out a form over and over again to reactivate my account and it has come back to me saying it can't reactivate it because I couldn't provide enough information to prove it was my account, I asked the geek squad if they could help, called google and waited on the line for an hour and still didn't get anyone, and I have prayed like crazy!! It wasn't working this morning but this afternoon it popped up on Josh's computer so he checked it just to see if it for some reason would just start working (something we have tried and tried but knew wouldn't work) and it worked!! Our blog was no longer removed and the account was active. I don't know how this happened. We haven't received any emails explaining that they reactivated our account or anything. I feel really blessed to have our blog back. I love having a blog so friends and family can see what you are up to and how your family is growing and changing, but most importantly it has been a family journal. I have always been a great journal writer and have made sure I write down every memory. The last couple years I have done this through a blog. When I found out it was all gone, it made me physically sick and emotionally sick. So, with all of that said, i am so grateful to whoever reactivated my account. I will make sure now to get my blog printed into a book so we won't have this same problem again, and those of you who read this... please learn from my mistake and don't do this to yourselves!
