Enjoying Life

At times being a mom is hard work! There are days that I feel like I am the worst mom in the world. I feel like I am raising my voice to much and that my kids are in tears more than they should be. But... There are other days when we have awesome days and I can't help but just enjoy life!

We watched Lucy for a few days while my mom and dad were out of town. Drake was so excited and played with Lucy from the second he woke up to the second he fell asleep. 

She is so naughty in church! She won't sit in the class and be quiet so I end up out in the hall. It is a good thing she is cute!!

One of my friends Celeste was in the musical The Secret Garden. Some of us friends went and watched her in it. It was so good and she did such a phenomenal job!!! She is so talented and it was so fun to go and watch her.  Also, it was a fun girls night out!!

How can you not enjoy life when you have that cute smile to look at everyday?

We love going to see movies in the theater. Drake thinks it is so fun and both kids love popcorn.

I was getting my hair cut and colored and Drake asked what color I was getting it done. I put this wig and and went and showed Drake that I had colored it green.  The look on his face was priceless! He didn't like it very much and was shocked that I might actually do that!!

I did put some dark in my hair!  I have always wanted to go darker,  it have never dared because I have always been blonde.  I just felt like my hair needed a change and needed something that helped it look healthier.... So I put some low lights in it and well.... I love it!  I think I could even go a little darker next time. 

Sofia's Family

I had to put this picture up because I know one day I will look back at this picture and wonder what in the heck I was wearing!! I love these printed leggings now oh so much... But I am sure one day I will be thinking differently! I love fashion trends and love looking back at old pictures and what people wore!! I can't wait to see what I think of these puppies!!

We had Sofia and her family up to my parents house after general conference for dinner.  We all absolutely adore that family and I think they like us as well. Arlett and Emma are in the picture above. They are beautiful girls.  They are so sweet and kind and such good helpers to their mom.  They baby sat our kids the other night while we went to thee Aggie game. They did such a great job and my kids had a blast with them!

Sofia is not only a good friend of mine, but she is so good to my kids!  She speaks to them in Spanish and broken English... It is hilarious. I just love her!

Lexi and Emily.  Emily is the one that was in Primary Children's Hospital.  She has since made a full recovery and is just a normal 2 year old little girl.

Sebastian, Drake and Marina are three little peas in a pod.  They get along so well and have so much fun playing together. I am grateful for this sweet family and for the spirit they bring into our lives. I really do love each and everyone of them so much!!

Fall Is In The Air

We sure have had a good time this fall and have enjoyed doing fun "fallish" things.  We went up Smithfield canyon with some of our friends Blake and Bug Allen and Chris and Kelsi Jensen.  We had a great time and enjoyed some yummy food. There really is nothing better than a hot dog over the fire, apple cider and doughnuts! All while sitting by a warm fire surrounded by fall leaves!!

We also went to the pumpkin patch and picked some pumpkins for our front porch and to carve a little closer to Halloween.

Drake loved it and was so proud of the pumpkins he picked. He has since gone outside on the front porch and talked to our pumpkins.

Supporting My Alma Mater

Drake loves parades and had a great time at the Logan High Homecoming parade this year. Mckay and Hannah were in the parade this year and Drake thought it was pretty fun seeing them.

Friday night we went to the Homecoming foot ball game.  We dressed in our crimson and gold and went and cheered on the Grizzlies!

Best Friends

Drake is an awesome big brother and Stella absolutely adores Drake!  He can't wait for her to wake up in the morning and when she does she is so happy to see him.  They eat breakfast and then they are ready to play together.  Pretty much no matter what Drake is doing he wants Stella to be right there by his side and she loves every minute of it! It is the cutest thing and it makes my heart melt. At times them being close in age has been really hard, but I am sooooo glad I did!! I hope that they will always be this close and love each other as much as they do now!
