One of the wonderful joys of pregnancy is having to go to the bathroom all the time. Even when I don't have to go, I still feel like I need to. I was sitting in the waiting room at the Dr.'s office this morning and came across this picture in a Reader's Digest. If this was appropriate, this is what I would look like 99% of the time.

I hope this dream never comes true....
I have crazy dreams every night. I have always had weird dreams, but since I have been pregnant they have gotten worse. I have very vivid dreams that seem so real. When I wake up, it takes a few minutes before I realize it was just a dream. A dream I had last night was so real I am still trying to convince myself that it was just a dream. I get very claustrophobic very easily, so this dream was not only bad cause I was pregnant, but because I was stuck! Where was I stuck? In a ride at Disneyland. I was there with my friend Errin. She had convinced me that this roller coaster was ok to go on being pregnant and it would make the baby more daring! The words "keep your arms, legs and all other objects in the cart at all times" kept racing through my head the whole ride as I held on as tight as I could to my belly. When it came time to get out of the ride, the safety restraint bar would not come up because it had got caught under my belly. Errin told me not to panic and she would help me get out. She then proceeded to hold on to the bar and put her feet on my stomach, pulling with all of her strength. I was not going to budge. I was stuck! The person in charge of the ride came over the intercom....."excuse me miss, you need to step back, there are people waiting to ride this ride." Errin tried to talk to the person and explain she was trying to help me cause I was stuck, but they didn't care. The next thing that happened was me looking at Errin down on the ground eating a churro and waving at me while I kept going around and around and around on that darn roller coaster! I woke up in a full body sweat! I have laughed about it all day, and had to write this down. Errin when you read this...... promise me you will never drag me to Disneyland when I am 8 months pregnant, and if you do.... please share your churro :)

Power outage = The closest we will get to "Lost"

Josh and I have been watching the show "Lost" on DVD. Wow it is awesome, but pretty scary! I know it is just a show, but the things that happen to these people on the island make me so grateful I live on civilized land, I am going to have my baby in a hospital, I have all the food and water I need, I have a nice warm bed to sleep in, monsters aren't attacking me, and that I have electricity! Last night our power went out about 8:00 and was out for about 5 hours. It was very exciting and very terrifying! The terrifying part was I instantly thought of "Lost" and was sure that this was not by accident, that someone had done it, the monster was going to get us, and someone was going to die. Then I quickly snapped out of it and the exciting part hit. I pictured me as Kate and Josh as Jack and now everything was ok, because we had to be brave and handle anything that came our way. Well the only thing that came our way was eating a treat by flashlight, and getting in our bed and watching more "Lost." It turns out having no electricity and being in the safety of your home is nothing compared to no electricity on an unknown island. It was a fun night and one that will always be remembered!
Jazz Game
Last week we went with our friends John and Hayley to the Jazz game to watch our friend Spencer. He played in the first half and did a great job. He is in Europe right now with the team and we wish him the best of luck. We would love to have him, his cute wife Julie and little Hannah stay here in Utah so we can see them all year long. Of course the ride down was fun with John and Josh serenading us with their lovely songs. It was fun to see other friends and spend the evening with John, Hayley and Grace!
We always have a good time with John and Hayley...(you can see what I mean)

My First Baby Shower
"We all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we take a little of each other everywhere." Tim McGraw
A week ago two of my best friends, Errin and Jordan put on a baby shower for me. We had a blast! It was so fun to see friends that I haven't seen in a long time. Errin lives in New York so the shower was at her parents house. It was beautiful and the food was AWESOME. These girls did a great job and I want to thank them for such a fun evening. I got a lot of really nice gifts, but the best part was spending time with friends. There were some that came and I didn't get pictures of, some that couldn't make it, and a few I forgot to invite (Sorry Julie!)
Errin and Me. We have been good friends for a really long time. The shower was at her parents house. She lives in New York so I don't see her a lot, but I talk to her on the phone at least once a week, sometimes more. I stayed up there well after the shower was over and we chatted about the good old days, and laughed really hard. We were a funny pair.
My Mom, Me and Jocelyn. The three of us worked together at Dr. Theurer's office. Because I don't work there anymore, it was fun to see Jocelyn, and of course I LOVED having my mom there with me.
Meghan and her two cute girls Mazey and Camry. I hadn't seen Meghan for a couple of years, so seeing her was so much fun. We were good friends in Middle School and High School.
Annie came and brought her two kids. She is holding Tayten, but Bentlee didn't want to be in the picture. Her kids are adorable! Annie and I have been friends since we were really little. She lived right behind me and all it took was a quick hop over the fence and I was at her house. We went through all 12 years of school together and have some very fun memories!
Jordan and Me. She is the other friend that did the shower. We also have been friends for a really long time. Before marrying Josh, Jordy and I spent a lot of time together and had a lot of fun. She is a really good friend that will always be there when you need her!
Miriam and Me. We grew up across the street from each other. We were in the same ward for 18 years. We used to play dolls, barbies and indians together. Now we are having babies together!
Hayley and Me. We have become good friends in the last few years. Our husbands met at Utah State and have been good friends for a while. Hayley and I see each other at least 2 times a week... sometimes more, and we talk everyday. She is a great friend I just love her!
Mari-Catherine, Me, Hayley and Karly. I met Mari-Cathering through Hayley. They are in the same ward together. I am so glad I have gotten to know her. The three of us, plus Jaime made quiet books together. We got together once a week to sew. It meant for a lot of late nights, talking, crying and laughing. Karly was really good friends with my husband Josh and his group of friends. She is married to Danny who I went to High School with. They just had a little baby 6 weeks ago. His name is Benjamin. He is the cutest little thing and him and Drake are going to be such good friends. I am so excited to get together so our kiddos can play..... but really it will be so Karly and I can hang out! She too is a good friend that I love a whole bunch.
So as you can see, I have some great friends. What more could a girl ask for?

A weekend with the Weils
The title may be confusing to some, but we are going to roll like Brangelina and TomKat and combine our names. (Wood and Neil) Last week Josh was gone all week for work. He traveled from L.A. to Louisiana and then to Texas. I think he planned this trip to Texas this certain week for one reason and one reason only...... The Aggies played at Texas A&M. What a smart guy, I would have planned my business trip then too. He worked really hard all week and deserved a fun weekend. He was also very fortunate to have John fly down and go to the game with him on Saturday. These boys were very excited for this weekend, and Hayley and I were pretty excited ourselves because we too had planned a fun weekend. So it worked well for all of us.
The boys in Texas......
You know you are going to get good food if the restaurant is called "Vernon's Kuntry Bar-B-Q"
When it got dark they were swarmed with crickets. They had to sit and watch the game with crickets jumping all over them. They pulled their collars up so they wouldn't go down their shirts. I didn't believe how many there were until I saw these next pictures.
Gross! I am so glad it was John with Josh and not me. I definitely would not have lasted!
So while the boys were off in Texas us girls had some fun of our own. Friday night Hayley, Grace and I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Hayley and John know the people that own it, so we got in on a special "practice" night. The food was awesome and it was free. The only thing they were doing was taking donations for the Cache Valley Food Bank. Pretty cool right? Then we went to Hayley's and painted our finger nails and watched the movie "Coraline" It was creepy! It is a kids movie and rated PG, but this is definitely one I would not want my kids to see. It gave me bad dreams and I am a grown woman. Saturday we started out early by going to some garage sales. Our idea was to find furniture that we can fix up, and we did it! When we fix it up I will have to post before and after pictures. Saturday night we made dinner at Hayley's house... well Hayley made dinner, I just brought a salad and bread. Mari-Catherine joined us for the night and brought a wonderful peach cobbler. We just hung out, ate dinner, talked and took some pictures. We had so much fun and got some good laughs in.
The Girls in Logan......
Grace loved the Honey Cinnamon Butter at Texas Roadhouse. Who doesn't?
What a diva!
Grace loves to touch my belly and feel Drake move. We talk about him a lot to her, so they don't really have a choice...... they will be friends!
Let the Photo Shoot begin....
Good Times!

32 weeks down..... only 8 more to go
Only 8 more weeks to go. It sounds like a lot, but I remember saying, "8 weeks down....32 more to go." YIKES! I am so glad I am where I am now. I had an appointment with my Dr. today and everything is looking good. He just needs to stay in there and keep a cookin. We are getting so excited to see this little man. We love him so much already and can't wait to have him be a part of our little Wood family.
