Las Vegas and St. George

We had a great vacation a couple weeks ago in Las Vegas and St. Geroge. We left on a Saturday with my family and went to Vegas for a few days, and then stopped in St. George for a few more days with Josh's family. We were gone for 8 days, and it was wonderful! The weather was great for us the whole time we were there. It was so fun to be around family and to spend time outside! BEWARE: There are a lot of pictures!

Las Vegas

We had perfect weather while we were in Vegas, and Drake took great naps outside.

We made our favorite stop to Krispie Kreme. My family used to go to Vegas a lot for Spring Break and we would always go to Krispie Kreme seriously like 8 times while we were there. It was our favorite place to go because you couldn't get one anywhere close to Logan. But this time we only went once and just felt full and disgusting after eating one. So..... we started a new tradition and went to Red Mango frozen yogurt. We went close to 8 times! That place is amazing!

We celebrated Josh's birthday while we were there. We went shopping during the day, and went to Benihanas for dinner. It was so good! The waiter had a huge crush on Lauren and kept giving her a hard time!

My dad made it in a few photos, but my mom wasn't in any! Probably cause she was taking all of them. We had so much fun in Vegas! Thank you so much for the great trip... I am glad you will still let us come with you sometimes!

So as you can see we had a really good time. After lots of good food, sun and fun time with family, we came home very tired and had a hard time getting back into real life! I love vacations and hate it when they come to an end. Thank you Barb and Syd for the great reunion! It was so much fun, and it was so good to see Brad and Andi! It was good to see the rest of you too, we just get to see you a lot more!

Happy Easter

HAPPY EASTER!! I know, I know I am a terrible mom for dressing my kid up in girls clothes, and now with bunny ears on. I just couldn't resist when I saw these in the store. He is the cutest easter bunny I have ever seen! He doesn't look very happy with me does he? We are in Las Vegas right now and the weather is beautiful. It is nice to be outside and Drake loves getting in the pool. (Don't worry, even though I am a bad mom by dressing my kid up, I have kept him out of the sun, and he doesn't have a sunburn!!) I hope all of you have a wonderful Easter.

APRIL FOOLS!!!!

April Fools!! I laughed really hard!!!! My Dad was freaked out and said, "Not EVEN funny." Hayley helped me with this joke and also laughed really hard. My Grandpa and Grandma were very surprised then laughed. My Aunt Holly and her kids laughed. Lauren laughed and said, "Ohhh.... I want you guys to have a girl.... come one just have another baby." My Mom laughed and took a lot of pictures. Ted, Logan, Emmy and Cooper laughed and called him Drakeina. Robin laughed and thought it was as funny as I did which made me think I was even more funny than I really am. Drake thought it was pretty funny. And........Josh...... well, he first thought it was a different baby, then when he realized what I had done he stared with a freaked out look on his face, giggled a little, gave him a kiss on the cheek and said, "Let's change your clothes." HA HA HA I LOVE April Fools Day!

My first stop of the day

All of you know of the love I have for Diet Coke. But, there is a certain place that has the best Diet Coke. McDonalds! It has the perfect amount of carbonation that burns just a bit when it goes down. Just enough syrup to make it taste good, but not to much. And the best part of it all are the big straws that allow you to get the perfect amount every time you sip. So with all of the love I have for McDonalds, they showed me some love in return with a very nice message! I have wisdom and I am clever. Why thank you McDonalds, you took the words right out of my mouth.

Family Pictures 2010

Family pictures with a newborn baby is a lot of work, and almost impossible to get a good one of everyone even looking at the camera, let alone smiling at the camera. So, my favorites are the ones of us not looking at the camera, but at our sweet little Drake. I figure he is the reason we got family pictures anyways, and of course we think all of the pictures of Drake are cute. We can't believe how much he has grown since we took these pictures.
