Celebrating on the 24th

We celebrated the 24th of July with the Johns family in Salt Lake City. We had a lot of fun and are so happy they invited us to go with them. We stopped at Target on the way down, went to their hotel for the kids to swim, ate dinner at Hires, went to the Bee's game and watched the fireworks and stopped for a Red Mango on the way home.

A Very Busy Summer

We have had a great summer, and stayed busy with lots of fun things. We had a family reunion, went to the Bee's baseball game on the 24th of July, and just got done watching our niece and nephews for a few days. We took lots of fun pictures doing all of those things, but haven't had time to post about them yet. So for now you can see what we have been doing in between on those hot summer days.

We talk to Grandma Lisa every morning around 10:15.

We have spent a lot of money on baby food.

We have been so busy that Drake has taken a lot of his naps in the car.

We have slept in.

We have eaten out way to much.

We have played a lot!

We have gone to the Logan Pool to cool off and be with friends and family.

We have enjoyed being outside.

And last but definitely not least, we have eaten lots of yummy treats!

Double Date

We went on a double date a few weeks ago with two of our favorite people.... Drake and Jordan! Jordan is one of my best friends. We have been friends for along time, and we love having her around! She is so good to Drake and helps us with him a lot. I will be getting ready to put Drake in his car seat and I go to grab Drake and he is already in his car seat with all of his stuff loaded into the car. She is awesome and Drake loves her. He gets really silly around her and knows that she is someone he gets to play with and she will give him anything he wants. Jordan will be a wonderful mom one day, but for now we are happy to have her hang out with us and show all of that love to Drake! We love you Jordy!

4th of July Weekend

What a great 4th of July weekend! I love the 4th of July! It is by far my favorite holiday. I love the music, the food, spending time with family and friends, wearing red white and blue, celebrating our freedom and fireworks.... I LOVE fireworks! Lauren had been staying with us all week because my parents were out of town. It was so fun to have her at our house. We love her and love having her around! It was fun having the 4th of July land on a Sunday, because it gave us a whole weekend to play and celebrate!

July 2nd

We went to the stadium for the fireworks. We went with Dan, Holly, their kids, and Lauren.

July 3rd

We went to the park with the Neils and Adams. We had pizza and just played at the park.

These 3 kiddos are silly! They are funny together. They are going to be good friends!

July 4th

Our friends Errin and Bryan blessed their baby girl Layla. She looked so darling in her dress. It was such a nice day. I am glad we could celebrate with them.

After the long weekend we were pretty tired and enjoyed the day napping and eating at the park.

July 5th

The John's are living at my grandparents right now cause they sold their house and can't get into their new one for a few weeks. So it is a party at Grandpa and Grandmas. Boston and Drake watching a movie!

Weekend with the Woods

A couple weekends ago we went to Pocatello to spend some time with the Woods. We had a great time! We went up Saturday morning and met Josh's parents for lunch. Then the boys went and watched the World Cup while Barb and I went shopping. Later that evening we went to Josh's cousins wedding reception. It was fun to see family on the Wood side, and for them to all meet Drake. Sunday we drove up by Hailey Idaho to spend some time with the Baird side of the family. They too had not seen Drake, so it was fun to see them as well. We had bbq and hung out. We had a good time, and it was fun to see family.
