Logan High Hi-Lo's National Drill Competition

A couple weeks ago, I was able to go to watch my little sister dance in the National Drill Team Competition. The competition was in Florida at the ESPN Sports Complex in Orlando on Disney property. We had a three day park hopper pass, and stayed on property, so we were pretty close to it all. We had a blast. My stomach hurt when I got home from laughing so hard. It was so fun to get to know the girls that are on Hi-Lo's and the other moms and sister that came along!

On the plane heading to Orlando. We had a 2 hour delay in SLC so we were happy to be on that plane headed to Florida.

Right when we arrived we went straight to Downtown Disney to eat dinner. We hadn't eaten all day and we were all starving.

Rain Forest Cafe

Downtown Disney

We had the best ice cream at the Ghirardelli ice cream shop!!

Waiting in line to get into the park at Hollywood Studios. We were with people who knew Disney World like the back of their hands, so we were up early and on a roll so we could be there right when the park opens, get fast passes for every ride and make it to the best rides before the lines got to long. It was awesome, but I was so tired at the end of the day!

Epcot

The girls at Epcot. Meghan and I were excited that we got to be in this picture and not the next one... it made us feel like we were still young like the girls we were with!

All the Moms

This picture was taken right after I had made a fool of myself and danced with all of the ladies in Italy.... no one would go up and dance with them, so of course I volunteered myself before I thought to much about it.

Morocco

This was the first half of the day...

...and this was the last half of the day. As you can see, I threw fashion right out the window, bought some socks and was way more comfortable!

Watching the competition. It was an all day thing, so in between their dances we got a taxi and went shopping and got something to eat.

The girls doing their kick routine.

The baseball field where the Braves have their spring training.

ESPN Sports Complex

Hailey and Ashley

Waiting in line to get into Animal Kingdom. This was probably my favorite park. They have the best ride called Expedition Everest, and the Jungle Safari is amazing!

Lauren, Sammy, and Karlee

Some of the girls first in line for "Expedition Everest"

Pluto and Goofy loved these cute girls!

A Bug's Life

Meghan, Nichole, Lauren and Ashley

Lauren, Kellie and Nichole taking a break.

The Jungle Safari ride was so cool. It was all real animals, and not in cages!! They were so close to us. We saw a ton of animals but these are a few of my favorites.

This is how we felt every single day. I am still trying to catch up on sleep from this trip.

Epcot again!

Watching the awards..They took 2nd in Nationals!!

They did so good! They took 2nd overall, to Bingham from Utah who were 5A state champs. Logan is only a 4A school.... so in other words... Logan High rocked it!!

Need I say more?

Sisters!

We spent the last night at Magic Kingdom!

We had such a great time, and it was so fun to spend time with my mom and sister.

Andrea's Wedding

Last weekend we went to Bellingham Washington for Andrea's (Josh's sister) wedding. We flew into Seattle and then drove a couple hours north to Bellingham. It was a beautiful, and it actually didn't rain the whole time we were there. It was such a gorgeous wedding and Andrea and Jonathan are so happy. It was a great trip and we are so happy we were able to go up there and be with them on there special day.

This is what we looked like trucking through the airport... ha ha it is ridiculous how much stuff you need when you have a kid!

The night we got there we went to Andrea and Jonathan's house and had a dinner with some of their friends and family. It was fun to meet the people we are heard them talk about, but also to meet Jonathan's family. It was a good time, and they live in a way cool house!

The next day Brad took Robin and me to go do some shopping that we never got around to cause we went to lunch instead! But that is ok, it was fun to just hang out with them. Then, Robin and I went and joined Andi and her friends at this spa. IT WAS SO NICE!! We changed into our robes, and hung out by the fire, then we got pedicures. It was a great place, and I got a sample of this way cool mascara that I will post about later for those of you that would like to try it... it is amazing!! Anyways, it was an awesome day! That night we had the rehearsal dinner at the same resort the spa was at. It was an awesome dinner with great food! We ate so well on this trip.

Andrea and Robin at the dinner. Both pregnant!! Andrea with a girl and Robin with.....we don't know cause they won't find out. I keep telling them that I am going to be dressed up as a nurse at their next ultrasound:)

Getting ready for the wedding to start!

The wedding ceremony was so good. There was such a good feeling there, and the music that was played was phenomenal. I loved every minute of it. It also was decorated so pretty. I didn't take any pictures cause I was having to much fun watching the wedding and eating good food!

The reception was so much fun. The band that was playing was awesome. They served everyone prime rib and salmon dinner. It was delicious!

Drake dancing with Grandma Barb.

Packing up to go home.

Before we got on a plane we played in Seattle for a couple hours at Pikes Market. It was awesome to see the men throwing fish and look around at the different stands.

We got the best crab cups. It was filled with fresh crab meat and cocktail sauce... yummy!

Then we stopped and got some fresh mini doughnuts that were hot and to die for!
Notice how everything I write is about food!!! Like I said before we ate well!

The gum wall. It was COVERED in gum! Gross

We had such a fun trip and enjoyed the time spent with family.

Play Date with Ben

Look at those cute little boys! I took Drake to Ben's house for a play date. They played great together and were able to burn off some energy in this cold weather. They talked to each other and followed each other around. It was so cute.

Ben wanted a hug....

So Drake gave him one!

They are pretty handsome little boys. It is so fun to have them so close in age!
