The First of Fall

It is fall at our house when football starts! I really enjoy watching football.  I love the environment, the cooler weather, and the excitement of watching a good football game.  Josh doesn't just like football, he LOVES football.  He is a huge sports fan, but an even bigger Aggie fan.  Since being married to him I too have gained a bigger appreciation for sports, and especially Aggie sports.  Fall is my favorite time of the year for many reasons and football is definitely one of them.  Josh has made it fun for me to watch because he explains everything to me, always buys me game day clothes, and makes sure I get a good hot dog and a diet coke at the game :)

My little sister Lauren is a cheerleader for Logan High so we have put on our crimson and gold and gone to a few games.

We have been to a few Aggie games as well.  We have had great weather, so the whole family has been able to go.

I made this quilt for Josh with all of his old Aggie T-shirts.  I was able to get it done about an hour before the first Aggie football games of this season.  I think it turned out awesome, and Josh loves it.

We played the University of Utah and beat them in over time.  It was a great game and Josh was sure it had to do with the quilt I made him.

Stella's first Aggie game.  She did awesome! She didn't cry once.  She just sat and watched the game and stayed awake the whole time.

The Karma Quilt

A couple of weekends ago was Homecoming Week for Logan High.  They had their parade on Wednesday night and I took Drake to it.  He loved the parade!!  The look on his face when they started throwing out candy was priceless.

Drake quickly learned what to do at a parade from Boston.

We went to the homecoming game that Friday night.  Lauren performed at half time.  They performed a dance that she had choreographed.  It was a great dance, and they looked so cute!

Drake is really getting into watching football... this makes his Dad so proud!

Logan played Sky View for Sky View's homecoming.  Even though I live right next to Sky View I still had to go and cheer for Logan.  When we all woke up on Friday morning we were surprised to see that the SV on the mountain had been painted crimson and gold.  I have to admit, I was so proud of whoever had done it.  The last time that had been done was 9 years ago when yours truly did it with two of her friends! Give me some time and I will be a Bobcat fan, it is just going to take some time :)

Our cute neighbor girl Hailey came with us to the game. She is so cute to my kids and they love her.  She is always outside playing and says hi and waves every time we see her. Her family just moved here, and we couldn't be happier to have them across the street!

I had to take a picture of Stella's cute outfit.  She is the cutest thing I have ever seen!

The second Aggie game.  Josh went up before with a group of his friends and tailgated, and the kids and myself came when the game started so we didn't have to wait on the cement seats.  They had a whiteout for this game and almost everyone in the stadium were wearing white shirts. It was awesome!

Go Aggies!

Drake and Ben

Drake and Ben are the cutest little friends. They play really well together and always have so much fun when they do.  They both talk about each other when they aren't with each other.  They are both all boy and talk about and are into a lot of the same things. They are a funny pair.

Park City With The Wood's

We had a family reunion with the Wood's at the end of August.  It was in Park City and all of Josh's siblings were there.  We had a lot of fun, and enjoyed the time spent with each other.

Josh had to work in Salt Lake the day we went down there so I drove with the kids and went to IKEA and Target (my two favorite stores). Drake and I ate lunch in the cafeteria at IKEA. We were the only ones in there for a while so Drake thought it was pretty cool. A couple of people came in with some other kids and Drake ran over to me and said, "AAGGGHH those people are freakin me out!"  This kid makes me laugh everyday.  He NEVER stops talking and everything that comes out of his mouth is funny! Later that evening we met up with Josh and drove to Park City to be with the Woods.

The next day Josh had to work again in Salt Lake. The rest of us went to the Main Street in Park City to look around the shops. We also got some ice cream and Drake threw the biggest fit I have ever seen. It was one thing after the other. He wanted a certain kind of ice cream, so I got that for us to share and then he wanted his own and didn't want any help from anyone.  Then he wanted a napkin, but not a white napkin a brown napkin!!  Then I went into the store to wash his hands off in the bathroom and on the way out he spotted a cookie and screamed because he wanted a treat!  YIKES! This wasn't just a little fit, these were all lay down on the floor, kicking and screaming fits! We all made it out of there alive though and got home quickly for Drake to take a much needed nap.

Cooper and Drake are the cutest little buddies.  Drake absolutely loves Cooper and wants to do anything Cooper does.  He watches him so closely so that he can be just like him.  They had a lot of fun on this trip and were able to play a lot!

On of the days we were there we went to Olympic Park to watch the ski jumpers practice.  It was really cool and fun to watch.  Then everyone but Stella and me went on a ski lift ride and a short nature walk.  Drake thought the ski lift was awesome.

We also looked around at the museum there at Olympic Park and were able to get some fun pictures...

One of the evenings we went to an outdoor concert at the Canyon's resort. The group we listened to were called "The Wood's Brothers".  They were really good and fun to listen to.

We rode a lift up to the concert.  I am not a huge fan of heights, especially when I have my two small children with me so it scared me to death, but everyone else thought it was great!

Look at those two!  Drake is a spitting image of his Dad.  He looks up to him so much and does everything he does.  It is the sweetest thing ever!

On Sunday we went to an outdoor market called "Park Silly". It had darling stuff for sale, live music and some really yummy food.  We got some lunch and took it to a nearby park for the kids to play.

Drake played so hard every day and was so filthy by the end of the day!

Saying our good byes!  All of the Wood cousins: Logan, Emmy, Cooper, Capri, Drake, Stella, and Sydney.

Our Last Summer Swim

We went to the Sport's Academy with the Brownings and the Neils toward the end of summer.  Grace and Drake loved swimming and the little babes loved it as well.  I think that Hayley, Nikki and I enjoyed seeing them in their cute suits even more!
 Stella and Addi

I absolutely adore this little girl and that cute smile of hers.  She is a happy baby and smiles at everyone.  I especially love seeing that cute smile in that darling swimsuit!

Stella and Ruby in their matching swimsuits.

Ruby and Stella are just wondering why Addi is wearing a green swimsuit. I guess she didn't get the memo:)
