Our Little Aggies

For Christmas this year I surprised Josh by getting our kids pictures taken.  Not only did I get pictures but I got pictures taken in their Aggie gear and up on campus.  I took two things that mean the world to Josh... his family and the Aggie's and combined them together.  I am in love with these pictures and I am so glad I got them done.

Leading Up To Christmas

This is such a fun time of year.  I love the anticipation of something just as much as what you are actually waiting for.  This year not only did we have Christmas to look forward to, but a trip to Disneyland as well. I had to get everything ready for Christmas before we left for Disneyland so we spent a lot of time at home.

Our Neighbors across the street have two of the cutest girls Jamie and Haylee.  They love our kids and love coming to our house.  Drake adores them and loves it when they come to play.  I think he thinks they are his age. One night we had a movie night and watched the Grinch (Drake got scared so we ended up watching The Muppets instead).  We went to the store to get treats and came back and watched a movie.

My mom and I went to Salt Lake to the Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert.  It was unbelievable.  The music was beautiful and it really put me in the Christmas spirit.  I love listening to the Tabernacle Choir and especially when they sing Christmas music.  They had Alfie Boe as the guest performer and he was seriously unbelievable.  It was a gun to go down with my mom!

Because of us being inside so much, Drake at times goes a little stir crazy. The only thing he can find to do that keeps him content is pick on his little sister.  The good thing is... she is ok with it and usually laughs the whole time he is doing it.

Stella is the sweetest little thing.  She hardly ever cries, is very laid back and content to just sit and play, and she always smiles.  We are happy to have this precious thing in our family to calm us down a little bit!

My Silly Kids

Words cannot describe how much I love these two children of mine.  They make me so happy and I feel grateful everyday that they call me Mommy.

Every morning I get snuggles from this little one. It is a great way to start the day.

I don't get to rock Drake to sleep very often and so when I do I take full advantage of that and hold him like that in my arms for a long time!

I think she totally looks like Josh in this picture and I love that little ring around her mouth from her binky.

My view while shopping.

My kids adore their Uncle James.  I am so grateful they are living in Logan right now and get to be influential people in my kids lives.

Happy Girl.

Drake secretly still wants to be a baby.  He isn't so sure he likes all of the attention Stella is getting and that he has to do things for big boys.  When he acts like this I just let him do it because he snaps out of it pretty quickly.

Drake and I love getting Drinks at Sonic Happy Hour!

Addi and Stella. The cutest little friends!

Lauren was sitting in this recliner and felt something hard in her back.  She lifted the cushion to find a bunch of Drake's toys hidden under there. When we showed Drake he said, "Oh Yeah!!"  You could see that light bulb turn on when he saw them.

Drake loves his dog Ike.  He sleeps on him, brings him down stairs every morning with him and makes me feed him breakfast.  And I am OK with it because the dog is a cute stuffed one!

Drake loves bath time and could literally play in their for hours.  He loves to have really warm (almost too hot) water and likes it to be really full.

Shopping with Mommy.

Drake feeding Stella some of her treats.  He really is a good big brother, and like I have said before she lights up every time he is around. It is really sweet.

One afternoon I was feeding Stella a bottle so I could put her down for a nap.  Drake came upstairs with a diet coke in hand and said, "Here ya go Mom, I love you!"  It was so sweet and I just burst into tears.  I guess it just got me at the right time and it made me really emotional.  I love that darling boy!

Drake is the world's best negotiator.  He has an idea and a plan for everything. Whatever the reason was, he got the cupcake that he had wanted all day.

Don't call the cops on me, but I may or may not have let Drake sit on my lap and drive a VERY short distance to our house.  I remember doing this on my Dad's lap to the church and back.  I seriously thought it was the coolest thing ever and I also thought my Dad was the coolest thing ever because of that.  Well I want my kids to feel that way and get that same rush of excitement that I did!

Stella and I watching "Pretty Little Liars" on Netflix.  Seriously, one of the best shows ever!

Because of these silly kids of mine, I have a lot of laundry to do.  Laundry is the only house hold duty that I absolutely hate.  It is also the one thing that I really let get backed up!

She is so silly!

I have realized that being a mom means you have NO privacy EVER!!

Drake and I did a "whirlwind" to pick up the toys and anything else that Drake had got out.  This was his idea of picking up.... I guess he did get it off of the floor!

We are so happy that we have a Chik Fil-A.  The food is great and the shakes are even better.  We even love to go there just so Drake can play at the play place and I can have a diet coke.

These two are the best little buddies!

Drake with his bear Dot.  Grandma Lisa made it for him and he loves it!

Stella is always happy and always has a smile on her face.  I hope she will continue to be this way.

There is something about sleeping kids that makes my heart skip a beat!  I love these two so much and really am so grateful they are mine!

When Josh is out of town for work, Drake and I tend to get out and do some fun things together.  We go to McDonald's so that Drake can play at the play land...

And we get shakes from Chick Fil-A
