I Love Stella

I just love my crazy Stella and here are just a few reasons why...

Look at that bed head!!  She has the craziest hair.

They love their daddy so much!

She asks fora drink all day long.  It doesn't matter what it is, she wants to drink it.

She smiles and laughs all of the time! She also is a great eater. She will eat anything and everything you put in front of her. She out eats Drake!  It is funny because she is so dang small!

I am so glad that I have a daughter.  She is so fun now but will be even more fun as she gets older.  I love the relationship that I have with my mom and I hope mine and Stella's relationship is the same.  My Mom is my best friend and I love her so much.  I can't wait to have that with Stella!

Drake Started Preschool

This kid started Preschool.  I can't believe that he is old enough to go.  He was so dang excited to go to school with his friends.  He loves to learn and asks so many questions.  School will be a great place for him to learn new things, get out some energy, learn to share and learn to take instructions from someone else.

We Love Aggie Football

As everyone already knows, Josh is the world's biggest Utah State Aggie fan.  He loves everything and anything that has to do with Utah State, but Aggie Sports especially Football and Basketball are definitely where his school spirit shows the most.

The first game of the season was played against the University of Utah on their home field.  The Aggies lost, but it was an awesome and very close game!  It was fun to go to it and am so glad that I am married to that cute Aggie fan.

Saying Goodbye To Lauren

Saying Goodbyes are never fun.  I have always had a hard time with it.  I remember when my parents would leave on a trip when I was a little kid and I would hate saying goodbye... even if it was only for a week.  So this goodbye was not a fun one, but at the same time she was so excited to go that it made it easier.

Lauren left the first week of September for Ecuador.  She is volunteering with the group OSSO.  She is working in an orphanage down there.  She is so brave because she went down there all by herself.  She met the girls that she was going with at the airport and then they all flew down together.  She said that she loved the girls from the very beginning.  She instantly connected with them and can't wait to spend the next 4 months with them. I am so happy for her!

We went to dinner at Cafe Sabor and then said our goodbyes after we ate.

Lauren is doing great in Ecuador.  She loves the girls she lives with and she loves the children in the orphanage so much.  They are all so lucky to have her down there.  I just love her so much and I am so dang proud of her!

The End Of Summer

We had such a fun summer!  We loved being outside and spending time with family and friends.  We kept really busy and I loved it.  I love having stuff going on and I love getting out of the house and doing stuff.  We made the best of this summer and tried to take advantage of anything possible we could do.

We caught a couple of Blue Sox games here in Smithfield.  Drake thought they were really fun, and I enjoyed eating the lion pups.

I never take pictures of myself because sometimes I don't love the way I look.  I figured I better get a couple pictures of me so that my kids and grand kids will know what I looked like when I was younger.

Even though it was warm outside, there were a few weeks that were really hot and we needed to just stay inside.  We went to the Jump Zone a few times to let the kids burn off some energy.

They got the volleyball pit and the playground done by our house and our kids have loved it.  It is so nice because it is so close to our house and they love playing in the sand.

We went to the Whitier Park a few times this summer with some friends. It is a really fun park and my kids love it!

Drake loves going with me to the quilt shop because he always gets a sucker!

Drake and Aunt Lauren are pretty good friends and he loves playing with her. She always has fun ideas and makes it fun for Drake.

He was almost always asleep before we could even get him in his bed.  We wore that kid out every single day.

He came to me one morning asking for a Big Boy drink like Uncle James drinks.  How could I say no to that sweet face?

He is just crazy and this is how most of our days are spent!

She is just cute and sweet!  I love being a mom... especially to these cute kids.  They are good kids and make me so happy. I am one lucky mommy!
