St. George for General Conference

We went to St. George for a little vacation with my family because Josh had to work down there and also because it was General Conference!  I love General Conference weekend and it was even more fun to be in St. George.

We did a lot of swimming. The weather was so nice and my kids love to swim!

We went to the Swig at least twice a day!

My kids love laying with grandma in her bed.

Lauren is a good Aunt and made breakfast for my kids every morning!

My mom let Drake color on a wall down there. She is going to paint soon at the condo and so she thought it would be fun for Drake to do that. Well now that he has done it, she isn't so sure she wants to paint over it. It's pretty dang cute!

Lauren and I went and did baptisms for the dead at the St. George temple. I was a lot of fun. I hadn't done them for a long time and really enjoyed going with my sister!

The kids love hanging out with their daddy when he is done working!

While we were down there Josh celebrated his birthday. He is 33! He and my dad went to the Priesthood session and then we all met at a burger place for dinner.

The kids love going to St. George. It is definitely Drake's happy place!

The Month of March

I always have random pictures that I just take but never know where to fit them in my blog.  So I just do a random blog post of all the random pictures that I take!

Kelsi got these shoes for Stella. Aren't they the cutest little things you have ever seen?

Drake falls asleep but then never sleeps in the regular position of his head on his pillow. Sleeping with him is like sleeping with a tornado.

This little nut cracks me up! She is darling and makes me smile every day.

One morning it just had so start out this way! I don't even know why, but it must have been a rough morning!

I got my hair cut and decided I needed a change. I cut bangs.  It took a little bit of getting used to, but I love it and am so glad that I did!

Stella, Lucy and Grandpa just hangin out on the kitchen floor.

Drake fell asleep on the chair in our room.  He used to never fall asleep anywhere other than his bed and the car, but lately he has been falling asleep all sorts of random places.

We made shirts and went and saw the new movie Divergent.  Our shirts each have the symbols of the faction we would belong to if we were in the book.  I belong to the faction Dauntless!!

She is no where near being potty trained but she loves to sit on the potty and pretend.

This is a funny picture and a creep picture.

Dancing with Grandpa. She loves her Grandpa so much!

Drake wore this bag on his head one morning for hours!

We put some shelves up in Stella's room and I loved the way they turned out!

A lunch date at Firehouse.

Yep, that would be Josh taking a nap using my sleep mask :)

We had a dinner and celebrated all of the birthdays in April!

Girls Weekend At Little America

We went on another girls weekend in SLC.  We had such a great time last time that we decided we better do it again before Mckenzie and Tessa have their babies and before Bug leaves for the summer.  We left on a Friday morning and got to SLC in time to eat lunch.  We went to Bruges Waffles and Frites. It was delicious.  I could probably eat ten waffles!

The rest of the day was spent shopping at IKEA and City Creek.  By the end of walking around all day, Mckenzie had had it and I insisted we push her in a wheel chair. I was the pusher and not so great at it. I ran into a lot of things!

That night we went to the Dodo for dinner and then back to the hotel where we stayed up way too late!! It was a blast though and we got some good laughs in.  The next morning Tessa drove down and met up with us at the hotel and then we did some more shopping and eating!! It was a great weekend and a nice break from our normal routines!

Josh took the kids to Idaho to spend some time with his parents. The kids were in heaven and I think Grandpa and Grandma were too :)  I have some awesome in laws!

Playing Outside

My kids love to be outside and so do I.  The weather is warming up and I couldn't be more excited!  I love sitting outside watching them play and playing with them.  We love to go to parks or in our front yard, but the best place to play outside is at grandpa and grandma greats house.  The kids love it!

I love this picture of Stella and my grandma.  She is showing her a flower that is about to bloom. It is so sweet. Stella adores her grandma great and grandma great adores her. It is the sweetest thing!

Like I said, we also love to go to parks and take the chance to go with friends or family or just by ourselves any time we can.
