Sick Stella

Poor Stella got the stomach flu and it lasted for a few days. It was miserable and we ended up washing everything in our house because of it. The poor girl tried to make it to the toilet or a bowl, but didn't always get there. She laid around and didn't move for like 3 days straight.

She  was just waiting for the throw up to come. I told her she would be ok, but she sat there with her head in a bowl for a good 15 minutes.

Once she started to feel a little bit better we took the kids on a bike ride so she could get some fresh air. She loved every second of it and brought her spirits up a bit.

She spend a lot of time watching the iPad while she was sick. I was cleaning and doing Laundry the whole time.

Is It Really February

It is the first of February and there is no snow on the ground and the sun is out. I can't believe it. We have been playing outside and meeting friends at the park.  The weather has been awesome!

Drake rigged up a pretty cool thing on his bike.  You could hear this coming down the road from a mile away.

Josh and Kaleb took the kids to Birch Creek to Chip and Putt. The kids had a great time and the Dad's probably had an even better time.

London and Stella are the cutest little friends. They have had  good time playing outside at parks.

Super Bowl Sunday

We were cheering on the Seahawks this year for the Superbowl. They didn't win, but that's ok.  We went to my parents house and had dinner and watched the game. It wasn't that big of a party and really laid back but it still was fun.

January 2015

The month of January was a good one. We had a lot of fun events, but these pictures are just of our every day life.

Drake got his first CTR ring from Primary because he is now a CTR 4.

Drake loves to paint and color pictures.

Taking a Sunday nap.

I was making dinner one night and Drake said he wanted to set the table. He did a great job and was so proud of himself.

Our kids love to eat at Angie's. We like to take them there because they always eat so good!

Gas prices went down sooooo low in the month of January.  It was so nice and made me so happy.  I filled our jeep for $33.78. It made me want to do a happy dance at the gas station!

This meal was so pretty I had to take a picture. It was really yummy too.

These cute girls after dancing. They all love going to dancing and love being there together.

Kenz and I went to a Zumba night down in Provo. It was a lot of fun and a good work out. It was fun to go with Kenz and spend some one on one time with her. After we worked our butts off for a couple of hours we went to In & Out for dinner and it has never tasted so good!

These two have the same hat. Drake thinks his Uncle James is pretty darn cool!

Drake is obsessed with dogs, and sleeps on his big dog Ike every single night and has Pluto in his arms every single night.

I took a sewing class with my mom up at the quilt shop in Preston. We learned how to make these cute pouches. It was a fun class that was pretty easy and we finished them by the time the class was over. It is so fun to go home with a finished project.

Drake loves golf and wants to golf just like his daddy. He thought it was pretty fun to putt around at Al's while we were looking for some new shoes.

I let Drake pick one thing he wanted to do while he and I were out just the two of us running some errands. He picked going to the mall and ride on a couple of the toys in that creepy place!  Whatever floats his boat I guess?!

Cabin In Bear Lake

This group of people mean a lot to me, and I can't imagine going through life with out them.  They are friends that have become family and we love every single one of them. We rented a cabin in Bear Lake and went and stayed up there for a couple of nights.  It was so much fun and we had the best time.  Our kids just played non stop and then slept so good from being so tired.  The adults just hung out, played lots of games, ate a lot of food and relaxed while our kids ran wild.  We got there on a Friday evening and had dinner at the cabin. The kids played and then we put them to bed and the adults stayed up late chatting and playing games.

Saturday morning we got up and had breakfast and hung out in our pj's until late in the afternoon. Then the dads took the kids to swim at the public pool.  They all had a blast and us girls that stayed home also had a blast and enjoyed the quite time.

The big kids watching the iPad while they waited for everyone else to wake up.

Ben, Drake and Jake

How cute that these two have the same swimsuit.

All of the kids waiting to go swimming.

The whole crew. They took up the whole pool.

That night we had a reservation at a restaurant. We were a little worried taking that big of group out to eat, but the kids did awesome and we had a really yummy dinner.

Liz wasn't in the group picture because she announced to us this weekend that she is pregnant and well... she was in the bathroom.  We didn't want to try for another group shot, so we got a good one of just the girls.

That night we went back to the cabin and put the kids to bed and stayed up late playing games.

Drake and Grace slept upstairs in the loft.  They laid there and giggled and talked for a while and finally fell asleep.  Sunday morning we woke up and went home early so we could all make it to our wards for church.  We had a great weekend and are grateful for such good friends that we can do these things with!

I Got A Haircut

I just don't have the type of hair that is thick and grows like a weed. I have been trying to grow my hair out for 10 years and it just stays at one length. So I decided I needed to give it up and just cut my hair so it looked good. You know when people by a pair of jeans and they do a size smaller than they need just because it is a small size but really if they bought the size they needed they would actually look a lot better?? Well this is how my hair is... I was trying to have size 2 hair when really I needed size 6 hair. So I cut it off and it feels so good!

And a few inches later..

It looked like this.

A Spontaneous Trip To Pocatello

Well these are the only pictures we got, but we decided one Sunday morning that we were going to go to Pocatello after church because Josh didn't have work the next day. So we packed up, got in the car, and drove up there! We had a nice Sunday dinner, played Back Alley and had a great day with them on Monday.  I am so grateful they live close enough that we can do that. Now we just need them to move a little further south so we can see them even more.
