Josh and Kids go to St. George

Well another trip and something fun that I couldn't do. I seriously have been in bed every day all day and in and out of the hospital every other day getting an IV of fluids and anti nausea meds. The Wood reunion this year took place in St. George and I just couldn't go.  Josh still went with the kids and had a wonderful time with his family.

Uncle Brad always rents the coolest cars and this one was the best yet. A convertible. The kids thought it was the coolest car they have ever seen, and it was a fight every time they went somewhere of who got to ride with Uncle Brad. He is such a cool uncle and my kids adore him.

They spent a lot of the time at the two condo's playing games and hanging out at the pool but they also did some other fun stuff. They went to the city park that has a big splash pad and a cool man made river running through it that the kids can play in.

And they went to the Tuacahn theater to see the Disney production of When You Wish. Josh said it was so adorable and the kids loved it. I was sad I could't be there for all of the trip, but I was mostly sad that I couldn't go with them to the shows.  It is my favorite place to see shows, and they are always so good. I am glad my kids got to go and experience it.

They went to Drake's happy place..... The Children's Museum.  He loves going there and could spend the entire day there. He loves the stage where you can sing a long to songs.

And I spent more time in bed eating mashed potatoes. The only thing that even remotely sounds good.

Tony Grove

Josh has been the world's best Dad while I have been sick and has taken over every responsibility. He is Super Dad. He works, cleans, cooks, takes care of kids, does laundry, washes the car, takes care of me and so much more. He has tried to do a lot with the kids out of the house so that I can rest. He is so sweet and my kids are having so much fun. I am just really sad I am missing the whole summer spending time with my family.

Josh and Sheldon took the kids to Tony Grove for a little hike. The kids loved it and it was good for them to be outside.  Stella was sure to bring her hiking backpack and Drake his hiking hat.

Bear World

Barb and Syd were so kind and took our two kids and Cooper with them on a camping trip. I have been so sick and can't even get out of bed because I am throwing up so much, have no appetite and am so weak. Josh took the kids up there to them and off they went in Grandpa's truck with the tent trailer behind them and headed for Bear World. My kids were so excited and had such a great time. On their drive they stopped at a gas station and all got matching hats.

I have never been to Bear World, but there were some rides that the kids loved and animals that were very calm that they could pet and get close to. It freaks me out, but they liked it:)

The two boys were so good to Stella and included her in all that they were doing. She thought it was so cool to be with the big kids.

They did some fishing with Grandpa Syd.

Drake is such a good big brother to Stella, and she adores him.  I love these pictures of the two of them just hanging out by the water chatting away. I am glad they have each other, it makes me so happy. They had such a great time with Grandpa and Grandma and I am so grateful they took them and created such a fun memory for my kids.

The 4th of July

The 4th of July is by far my favorite holiday, but this year was a a bit of a bummer. The kids looked absolutely adorable, but the pregnancy sickness started on July 3rd, the night of the fireworks and hit so hard and so fast!!! I have never been more sick in my entire life.

We did most of our celebrating on July 3rd for the fireworks. We went to my parents house for dinner and to watch the fireworks that night.

Even though I am only 6 weeks pregnant, I started feeling so sick I didn't have a choice but to tell everyone.

Once it was dark we went to the Elliott's house to sit in their backyard to watch the fireworks. It was the perfect spot!

I came home that night and crashed.... when I woke up I felt so sick and knew I had a long road ahead of me.

James and Lexi came out and got the kids so I could rest and took them out to Lexi's grandma's house in Newton.  They love going out there because of the cool chair on her stairs.

Then they took them to my parents house to play in the pool and jump on the tramp.

Stella made her stepping stone with her hand print in it and got to decorate it the way she wanted to.

That night they did fireworks at my parents house and I stayed home in bed. I was pretty down because i didn't feel good, but mostly because I was missing this family time on my favorite holiday.

The next day I was in the hospital getting fluids and took these pictures to remind myself how awful it was and how sick I felt!

The Month of June

The month of June was a good one. We plunged into summer and took advantage of no school and nice weather and tried to have as much fun as we possibly could.

We went to the pool with friends.

Stella and I went to Elli's dance review.

Hayley and I took a class at the fabric store in Preston on her birthday.  We learned how to make these shirts. It wasn't too hard and a lot of fun to learn.

We stopped to rest at Grandpa and Grandma's house.

Stella had a princess camp she went to with her friends. It was darling and she loved every minute of it. The last day, prince charming came to celebrate coronation day with them.

We had a garage sale and we sold this highchair that we have used for our two kids.  It was my highchair when I was a kid. It has been a good one, but it is pretty worn out and takes up a lot of space.  I was kind of sad to see it go, but was happy to sell a bunch of other stuff we didn't need anymore and make some extra cash.
