Brigham City Pool

Every summer we try and make it over to the Brigham City Pool a couple of times. Even though it is a little drive, it still is worth it because it is never busy and they have better stuff for small children. This time going over it was Liz, Harper, Hayley, Grace, Ruby, and myself and Drake and Stella. The kids had a lot of fun together and so did the moms!

Stella decided to take a rest for a little while. I love how she sleeps with her bum in the air!

This kid loves to swim and went down the slide all by himself!

The kids eating their cotton candy! This is about it for pool days because summer is almost over. I am glad we went out with a bang!

Back To School Glow In The Dark Parade

Our neighborhood started the most fun tradition this year. We decided a couple of nights before school started all of the kids could stay up until it got dark. They decorated their bikes and themselves with glow sticks and had a glow in the dark parade down the middle of our street. It was so much fun. All of the parents came outside to watch and participate and we had lots of treats! The kids had so much fun together and it gave them one last thing to do before school started!

Drake was in heaven!

We even had our neighbor that is a police officer drive down and flash his lights. The kids loved that!

We live in a good place surrounded by really good people!

A Day At The Lake

The moms packed the kids in the cars and drove up to bear lake to spend the day together. We stayed at the Taylor's cabin and hung out at the beach right below for most of the day. The kids had a great time playing in the sand and the moms were able to chat and get some sun!

Later that evening we went to La Beau's for some dinner and then the other girls all went home and I stayed over night with Tessa. It was a blast and a fun getaway in the middle of the week.

We Think We Are Still In High School

We went out for date night with our good friends Blake and Bug Allen. We went to dinner at Jack's pizza. While we were there they had a lady playing her guitar and singing. They sat us right by her and she was singing so loud we could hardly hear eachother. It made for some good laughs! Then we went mini golfing at willows. I hadn't been there for a while and it was a lot of fun.

After that we decided to go to the bluebird for some icecream and sit at the old fashioned bar they have there. It was really fun and different idea that we have never done. We had a blast! Blake used to work there and was telling us about the place. He said the basement is really dark and scary with weird hallways! While we were inside eating our ice cream Bug and I were saying it would be so fun to be able to go down there and we were trying to figure out a way to get down there. Blake said the only way was to go through the kitchen. We were bummed cause we thought it sounded like an adventure. As we were walking out of the building and to our car Blake pointed out a door with a window in it and said if you look in that window you can see the staircase that leads down to the creepy basement. We looked in and sure enough we could see. Well, Bug and I were so lucky that night because that back door was open! Josh and Blake started walking to the car. Bug and I went right through that door and down the stairs. The boys didn't even know we had gone. It gave us the biggest rush!
Ha ha ha! It was creepy down there and had an eerie feeling. We looked around for a second, took a couple of pictures and then left. Our husbands realized what we had done and had come back to find us! It made for some good laughs and  it got Bug's and my adrenaline going!  We joke and say that it probably was a good thing that Bug and I didn't know eachother in high school because we would have gotten into a lot of trouble!

The Cache County Fair

We went with some friends and took our kids to the Cache County Fair. It was fun and the kids had a blast!  We enjoyed some rides and my kids loved there animals. We also enjoyed the yummy fair food!

The best part of the day was the henna tattoo I got of the deathly hallows on my wrist. I was so freaking happy!

Drakes favorite part was riding the horses!

You were a good time cache county fair. See you next year!

Lauren Leaves For The MTC

I love my sister so much! She is my very best friend and 18 months without her is going to be very hard. I know she is going to be a fantastic missionary and this is where she is supposed to be and what she should be doing, but she is going to be missed by the Wood family.

Drake was able to have some special time with her before she left. She took him to get a grape sprite and a sugar cookie. He was in heaven. He adores her!

We went out to eat and got some ice cream the Monday before she left for FHE.

She got set apart Tuesday night and we got one last funny picture:)

I am so proud of her.

The blessing she got was unbelievable and so sweet. She is going to be so blessed! The kids and Josh said bye to her Tuesday night.

We drove down Wednesday morning to the MTC. We stopped and got some lunch and then drove to the MTC.

It was really quick but really spiritual and happy. She was so excited to get going! She really is going to be the best sister missionary out there! As we watched her walk off we all got ready eyes and then got in the car and all had a good cry!

We love you Sister Rohwer!!
