I had a wonderful Mother's Day! I hope all of you moms out there enjoyed it too. Last year I was pregnant and so I was able to celebrate it, but this year was even better. I am so grateful I am a mom! Although at times it is a trial, it brings me so much joy. I enjoy watching Drake grow and do new things. I love the feeling I get when I am holding him in my arms and he is asleep. I love when he smiles at me, and better yet when he laughs. I could go on and on about what I love about Drake and what I love about being a mom, but I think what I have learned the most about being a mom, is how much my own mom has done for me. WOW! I love my mom so much and I appreciate so much all that she has done for me. Here are just a few things I love about my mom.......-She is a great example to me of patience and unconditional love
-She is so funny
-She thinks I am funny
-She puts others needs ahead of her own
-She is so easy, and fun to talk to
-She loves McDonald's Diet Coke as much as I do
-She is my best friend

I love my mother in-law as well. She is a fabulous woman! She has been a great mother to all of her kids, and I know all four of them love her very much! She has treated me as if I was her own daughter, and I really appreciate it! She is a very hard worker and is always willing to help anyone in need. I have learned and will continue to learn a lot from her. I love you Barb!
Another good thing about yesterday was talking to James in the Dominican Republic! It was so much fun. I have been looking forward to this for a while. I am really close to my brother, and I miss him like crazy! Just hearing his voice made me happy. He is doing so good. He is an assistant to the president and loves working close with his mission president. He lives with about 6 missionaries and he said they are all alike and have so much fun together as well as work really hard. He told us some neat stories about those he has baptized and the spirit that he has felt being a missionary. It was a great conversation! He is a great missionary and I am very proud of him! I love him so much, and talking to him was wonderful!

It is wonderful, I agree. And you are doing such an excellent job! And you just look so cute doing it.
You are and awesome mom and I also agree that you have an amazing mom. She does think you are funny, she tells me things you say and we both laugh! I hope my girls and I can have as great of a relationship as you and your wonderful mom have!
