Daddy Son and Mommy Daughter Week

Last week Josh and Drake took a road trip and went to St. George.  Barb and Syd were down there and Andrea, Jonathan and Sydney were also there.  We were all going to go, but the day before we were going to leave Stella came down with croup.  We decided it would be best if her and I stayed home.  Josh had to go anyways to work so he decided to take Drake with him.

Josh said Drake was awesome in the car.  He slept for a couple of hours, played on the iPad and watched movies.  When he got there that night he played games with Grandpa and Grandma and then went to bed.  Thursday Josh had to work all day so Barb and Syd watched him.  They said he did great and was so polite... ha ha ha he has them fooled :) 

Later that night I got this cute picture of Drake giving me a bedtime kiss.  

Friday they drove to Las Vegas to pick up Andrea, Jonathan and Sydney from the airport.  That night they went to eat at a buffet where they had a huge fish tank with mermaids in it. One of the mermaids had a crush on Drake. I guess what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!

Sydney and Drake.  They loved playing together, and I am so happy that Drake could go down there and spend time with his Aunt and Uncle, Grandpa and Grandma and his cousin.

Thanks to Barb and Syd for taking care of my boys while they were gone. They had a great time and were well taken care of!

While the boys were away Stella and I spent a lot of time inside. She didn't feel very good the first few days so we just kept it low key.  We went to my grandparents one day and Stella fell asleep while my Grandma was holding her.  In my opinion that is one of the best places to take a nap.  It was so sweet and my Grandma loved it.

Even though she was sick she still smiled a lot.

We went and watched Aunt Lauren perform at the high school one day when she was feeling a little bit better.

By Saturday she was doing much better but we still stayed home most of the day.  Later in the day we rode with my mom to Ogden. She had to exchange something at the Dillard's down there.  I just had to snap this cute picture of her!  She is absolutely beautiful!

My Dad was out of town so we went with my mom to church on Sunday. My mom was pretty proud to show of this cute little girl.  The only thing that would have been better is if she could have showed Drake off too!

Because of all of the time spent inside I was able to make this cute Valentine Wreath.  It was a good week and we all had a good time.  We missed the boys a lot and were happy when they were home safe.
