I have the coolest friends ever!! We have a girls night once a month with a group of us that are all in the same ward. Somebody different hosts it each month and we go and eat food, paint our nails and chat til 3:00 a.m. It really is so much fun and I look forward to this night each month! Well one month my good friend Bug hosted it at her house and did a Harry Potter party!! We all got invitations and were assigned a character to dress up as and we were given a food assignment.
I was assigned Professor Severus Snape!
When we got there the whole house was decorated and the lights were low. It felt like we were in Hogwarts!! My favorite decoration was in the bathroom!
We had all sorts of food that are in the books! I was in charge of making Treacle Tarts and Lemon Drops. There were chocolate frogs, acid pops, pumpkin pasties, pumpkin juice and of course butter beer!!
Bug was Voldermort.
Heather was Professor Dumbledore and Whit was Luna Lovegood
Madelyn was Harry Potter
Jennie was Ron Weasley.
Tessa was Hermoine, Hayley was Hagrid, Kelsi was Belatrix Lestrange, Celeste was Professor Trewlaney and Mckenzie was Dobby! It was such a fun night of fun, trivia, treats and staying late chatting!! I love these awesome friends of mine!!
