Christmas Eve is always a great day. I almost like it better than Christmas. I think because the anticipation of Christmas is still there and the excitement of knowing what the next day has in store is so much fun. This year was especially fun because Drake really understood what was going on and he was so excited!
We started the day off right by having doughnuts for breakfast!
Later than evening we went to my grandpa and grandma's house for dinner and fun!
We did the live nativity and had all of the kids dress up and play their different parts. I love this tradition and will continue to do it with my kids and grand kids!
Stella loved the baby Jesus. She kept holding him and kissing him and then she would lay him down and pat his head. It was so cute and so sweet!
We sang some songs and then had a performance by my mom on the violin. It has been a long time since she has played and she did a great job!
After we were done there we went to my parents house where my siblings and Josh and I and the kids all slept. We all opened our Christmas Eve pajamas and got ready for bed.
We read a Christmas Story and then we heard Santa's bells. Drake ran upstairs and got into bed so fast!!
Josh, James, Lexi, Lauren and Myself made one huge bed with the mats in the family room and we all slept there. It was so much fun and I am so glad we did it. It was so fun to be together and to wake up the next morning all together!
