I have heard from a lot of people that I am going to want a sling when the baby gets here. I can see that they would be very useful, but they are really expensive for a small piece of fabric. I searched everywhere online for ones that were cute, safe and reasonable in price. I had no luck. So.... I have a sewing machine now, why not make one!
I couldn't tell how it would feel with a baby in it. My baby consisted of hand towels and dish rags. I need to get my hands on a doll, to test this thing out. I like it cause it is tight and the baby will be able to be very close to me.

Good job! Very impressive. I wish Hannah liked the sling cause I think they are so cute! Well she likes it now but back in the day she wasn't a fan. You're already such a great mom!

Ashley! So cute! You are going to be sewing up so many cute things for you little baby! You are going to have to teach me how to make a sling :) I never had one but I want one for my next toad cause I bet they are way nice! Good wor!k!
Look at that talent!! Where did you get the pattern? I bet you will love it! Bergen didn't really like to be held (strange for a Baby) so I never needed one...but I bet it was fun to make, your gonna be one crafty mama!
I am sooo impressed. I want to see the baby book your mom has been telling me about. Look at you being all provident and financially responsible!
