With Kelsi getting ready to have a baby we wanted to do one last girls weekend before that baby comes. We were going to go to SLC like we usually do, but we decided to go somewhere a little warmer and closer to Tessa. We went to St. George for the weekend and had a great time. The car ride down was a blast and went super fast because we talked and ate yummy snacks the whole way. When we got there Tessa had set up a cute sign, cake and some other treats so we could do a little baby shower for Kelsi. She isn't finding out what she is having so we all got her some essentials and gift cards.
Neilsen's Custard was a must stop while we were there as well as some other yummy places to eat. We also made a few stops at the Swig for diet cokes, limeades, cups of ice and cookies.
We stayed at my parents Condo and spent time at the pool and just hanging out inside. We did a little bit of shopping while were down there, but spent most of the time just hanging out so that Kelsi could rest and we could all chat and hang out. We had a great time and enjoyed the small break from our every day schedules.
While I was gone, Josh went with the kids to St. George to see his parents and to help them with some jobs that he promised he would help them with. Drake was put to work and he worked hard.
Going on vacation, or having a weekend away is nice, but there really is "No Place Like Home"
