We had a great memorial day. Josh had work off so we enjoyed the day at home with each other. Josh has been busy and so have I so we haven't been able to just hang out at home. Drake slept at my parents the night before and then went with them on a ride to see my great grandparents graves.
Josh and I cleaned off our back patio and Stella played int he sprinklers. It was fun to spend the day at home and to get some one on one time with Stella. She had a great time and loved playing with her Daddy.
I think this is the perfect picture. Josh is such a great daddy and Stella adores him!
Drake went with my parents to Portage where my Great Grandpa and Grandma John are at. My Dad rode his bike out there and my mom and Drake went and picked him up and dropped some flowers off at the grave. I loved my Grandpa and Grandma John. He gave the best back tickles and I always got the coolest polished rocks from him and she was a great cook and gave great hugs! They were always so happy to see me, and I know they would adore my kids.
The next stop was my at my great grandpa and grandma Haslam's grave. I didn't know them as well but I have heard a lot of stories about them and Drake was named after my great grandpa Joseph. I hope Drake turns out to be just like him. He was a great man!
Later that evening we went to the Neil's house for a BBQ and then went and saw a movie while Aunt Laurley watched our kids! It was a great day spent with great people!
