The Woods: The Beautiful Month of May

I love the month of May! The main reason is because it is my birthday month! I also love it because of spring. I am a rain person. I would pick a rainy day over a hot sunny day. I love the smell of rain and I love dark clouds (weird, I know). I love how pretty and green everything is and I love all of the pretty flowers. I remember growing up I always loved my moms flowers and thought the flowers on her flower pots were so pretty. She still has beautiful flower pots and since I have been an "adult" and had a house of my own I have always loved planting a pot. But....it is a lot of work and expensive so I have only done one. Every other year I have planted a pot they end up dying! I really want a green thumb do this was disappointing. So this year I went to a class at the greenhouse and they helped me plant a pot and gave me detailed instructions of how to take care of it. And because I am blogging about this and it is the end of August (I have gotten very far behind in blogging this summer) I can say that all the tips worked and because I have babied that pot it looks so pretty and lush!! I am pretty proud of myself!

This was the pot the day I planted it. It grew so big and the flowers are still blossoming all over!

I love our house! I don't know if I ever want to leave here. If we had a yard I would be happy staying here the rest of our lives.

May was a good, busy month.

Drake finished his last month of pre school. He loved his class and his teacher Mrs. Lamb. Drake did so awesome in school and learned so much. He loved being in a carpool and once the weather was good he loved waiting outside for his ride.

My kids along with myself love going to my grandpa and grandmas house. They are my heros and I love them so much. Every time I am at their house my grandma makes sure we are all fed and happy. Drake and Stella adore them and I am so glad they are able to have that relationship with them.

A friend brought me this mug one day. I love it. Diet coke tastes better out of a cute cup:)

While I ride the bike, Stella likes to put on my running shoes and hang out rigt below me.

I have some good friends! We got together for something and snapped a picture for Bug because she was gone for the summer.

This kid is always awesome! What a handsome boy.

And this one is as cute as can be. Seriously, could she be any cuter?

These two melt my heart. I love the relationship they have. They both love each other a lot and are best little friends!

I got this in the mail for my birthday from Hayley. One of the best gifts I have ever received!

Sleeping children are the sweetest! I take soany pictures of my kids while they are sleeping cause they look so precious. Also when they are sleeping it is the one time I can sit and stare at them and kiss them as much as I want!

I was leaving my grandparents house one evening and right when I stepped outside I saw a snake! I freaked out! My grandma was the only one home and i was glad because I know how much my grandpa hates snakes. I hate them too. So I called her from my cellphone because I didn't dare go inside for fear it would slither away. My grandma came outside with a big shovel in her hand. That crazy woman went after that snake like nothing I had seen before. I was shocked and in awe! My grandma is fearless and brave! I was laughing so hard at her!

She sure knew how to take care of that problem ;)

I am loving these cute rompers that are out this summer for little girls. Stella looks so cute in them!

Stella had a blowout one day and we weren't going to be able to go home for a while. So, I had to take her into wal mart in nothing but a diaper and the sunglasses she refuses to take off!

She got another haircut. We trimmed up the back into a little bob so she doesn't have a mullet!

We love hangin out and grandpa and grandma's. They especially love jeep rides!

This group of girls are some good friends! We went to dinner to celebrate all of the spring birthdays we have and then went and got a pink's shave ice after.
