At the first of June my parents and James and Lexi went to the Dominican Republic to visit James' mission. While they were gone Josh, the kids, Lauren and I went to St. George. We drove down on a Saturday and then took Josh to the airport down there on Sunday and he flew to Spokane where he had some on campus classes he had to take for school. So Lauren, the kids and I hung out in St. George for a few days.
We drove two cars down there because Josh stayed in St. George a few extra days than us so he could get work done down there. On our way down Lauren and I stopped at the new H&M in Farmington.
When we go there Saturday night we went to dinner at Kneaders. The kids love going there because they love to eat their sugar cookies. It is also right by the condo so it is an easy place to go.
We stayed at my parents new condo this time. It was fun to stay there and the kids loved it and slept great!
Monday we took Josh to the airport. The kids came with me to drop him off.
Josh sent me this pic while he was in SLC waiting to get on the plane for Spokane. He is a handsome dude!!
While we were down there we had to do a little bit of shopping. We hit the usual spots: Target, Gap Oulet, T.J. Maxx and Old Navy. We found some good stuff on sale and just had a fun time looking around at the stores that we don't have in Logan.
Shopping with Drake is always a treat. He was dancing and posing in the dressing room at Gap.
My kids adore Lauren! They loved waking up to her being there with us every morning. She is so good to them and they love her so much!
We went to the pool every day while we were there. Drake loves swimming and stayed in the pool swimming the entire time we were there. He would get out to eat a snack and then jump right back in.
We went to eat at a lot of fun places like The Pizza Factory, Nielsen's Custard and of course we got sugar cookies and drinks from the Swig!
Pretty much every night we would pop popcorn and watch a movie. It was really fun and a great getaway. I am so glad Lauren came with me and spent the time with my kids and me. We laughed really hard and just had a great time!
