The preschool at USU is so awesome! My brother James went there and then Holly's kids have gone there. I put Drake's name on the list when he was about 6 months old and he just barely got in for his last year of preschool. We put Stella's name on the list the day she was born and she has gotten into every lab but it just hasn't worked for us to take her. Drake loves his new school and so do we. They do such fun things with the kids. The kids choose out of a bunch of activities what they want to do for the day. I like that because it helps Drake becomes more independent and it has been fun for him to just play and get dirty!
Before school started, Drake's teacher came out to our house to meet him. Her name is Leslie and she is so darling. She is exactly what you would picture as a preschool teacher. Drake adores her! Then they had an open house where all of the kids came up to school to see what it was all about. That got Drake so excited and even Stella loved it.
Drake's first day of school. The teachers come out to the car and get the kids out. It is so nice because I just pull up and don't have to get out of my car. They do the same thing when I come back to pick him up.
One of the things that Drake was most excited about his new school is that it was at USU where Uncle James goes to school. Therefore, James would be able to pick Drake up from school and walk him to the bus stop and ride to Grandma's house. Drake was so excited to do this!
Drake is a good student who loves to learn. I am very proud of him! His teachers also tell me that he is a very good friend and kind to all of the kids. That makes me so happy!
