Bi-Annual Girls Weekend in SLC

I am very fortunate in my life to have some amazing friends and neighbors. I feel like I am surrounded by them.  I truly love all of these girls so much. There is a group of friends that I met by living out here in Smithfield.  We were all at one point in the same ward, but then the wards split and now we all live by each other.  This was the reason that we became friends, but definitely not the reason that we have stayed friends.  We all get a long great and each individual personality brings great things to the whole group. We enjoy being with each other, can laugh a lot and talk about anything, and help each other become better mothers, wives and friends. We started a year ago with a girls weekend to SLC and did again last spring.  We thought it was a tradition that needed to continue to happen so we set off again this past fall.

Mckenzie picked us all up and we left on Friday afternoon.  Tessa was a little freaked out by all of the pumping and breast milk going on.  Because she hates it so much, she was the designated pump holder.

The whole trip we focused on getting all of our Christmas shopping done and not buying for ourselves.  It was so nice and fun to get it all done this weekend. It made getting ready for the holidays less stressful.

We hit up all of the good stores, and ate yummy food along the way. We had a lot of fun and got all of our Christmas shopping done!

While I was gone, Josh helped the kids put up their Christmas tree upstairs. They were excited to get it up, and are looking forward to Christmas!
