Even though we do a lot of fun things and they are fun to document, some of my favorite parts of this blog are the random pictures of our day to day life. It is what we do the most of and these pictures are what I know I am going to love looking back on the most. One day my kids are going to be all grown and these pictures are what I am going to be able to remember what it was like to be a mom of two small children. These kids make me smile, laugh, cry and make me feel an overwhelming amount of love. I am blessed to be their mother and am very grateful for our day to day life!
We watched the Karren kids for a couple of days while their parents were gone. My kids love hanging out up at their house. They get to have a sleepover with their cousins and play all day.
Some days just wear my kids out! He was so tired he couldn't even make it to his bed.
We are getting pretty excited for Aggie football to start!
This is how Drake eats his food. Each item gets its own bowl. And I know that my child is way too big to be sitting in a highchair, but he loves it because it has a tray and he can watch a movie while eating a snack.
Drake, Elli and Layne set up a Lemonade stand and made some money. I don't know about you, but if Drake was waving me down with that cute smile to buy lemonade I would stop and buy and some!
We played at a lot of parks this summer.
Jordan, Errin and I went to Herms for breakfast. It was so fun to catch up and just hang out with the two of them. I love those girls so much. I also loved that cinnamon roll pancake that Jordan got!
We went and saw Grace in the play 101 Dalmatians. It was a darling play and Grace made a very cute puppy.
This kid loves his stuffed dogs. He sleeps just like this every single night. We really need to get this kid a dog.
I have been working on this hounds tooth quilt for a couple of years. It was really hard and very time consuming. I finally finished it and I am pretty happy with how it turned out!
At the park for Sunday dinner with my family. We go to Adam's park every Sunday evening in the summer for dinner with my whole family. We have always done this and I love it. It is fun to eat dinner together and let the kids play.
Eating lunch outside is always fun.
Cold Stone ice cream is so dang good. My new favorite is cake batter with cookie dough. I couldn't get enough of this all summer long.
This is a picture of Boston making a touchdown. I love this picture because of my Grandpa in the background. That is pure joy right there!! My Grandpa is that way with every single one of his grand kids. He is by far our biggest fan!
Look who Lauren ran into at the airport on the way to Florida. The perfect family member for her to run into. Truly was a tender mercy.
We watched baby Rowan for a little while and Drake was in heaven. He sat right by him almost the whole time and made sure he had his binky, that he was warm and kept him bouncing!
My first letter from my favorite sister missionary.
While I am riding the spin bike the kids like to play right next to me. It is fine with me cause I get to witness adorable things like this.
Those eyes! She gets whatever she wants.
I miss this missionary so so much! Look how darling she is. I am so proud of her and her decision to serve a mission.
Drake and all of his friends having a sleepover :)
She is naughty!
I love Sofia so much. I am really glad that my mom became friends with her because she is now one of my dearest friends. I adore her kids and we are all so blessed to have them in our lives. She is a sweet lady and a great mother.
Stella is excited for football season. Her dad is very excited about this too.
Sleeping kids make me happy!
I made this baby quilt for Bug's new baby Penny. It turned out so cute!
The kids love to ride in the bike trailer. We got it this summer so we used it a ton! We had a couple of Saturdays that we would bike ride around Smithfield. It was great!
My Grandpa had to be in the hospital for a couple of days and Drake loved going up to see him so he could tell him all about his day and what he was doing. Drake loves his Grandpa and Grandma great so much. When asked what he wants to do each day he usually replies with this, "I want to go to the Jump Zone, Mcdonalds, the Fun Park, and then to Grandpa and Grandma Greats."
These girls are the cutest little friends! It is so fun to have my friends kids be the same ages as my kids. It makes me happy to watch them play together.
These two didn't want to have anything to do with me at Chick Fil A.
Isn't she the cutest?! I love her so much. And look at those kids, aren't they so darling!
This girl likes to shop.
Drake and Daddy went golfing.
Some pictures from the Cache County Fair. This boy is so sweet and has the best smile.
