This is by far my favorite tradition that we have this time of year. For some reason we always do it up at Dan and Holly's house and it is just so much fun. Holly makes the gingerbread boys and the kids all decorate them and I just sit around and eat them. They are so dang yummy!
This was the first year that Drake could really decorate them on his own and he did a really good job. He worked really hard on them and was pretty proud of himself when he finished.
Stella adores her big brother and just stood there by him and watched him and kept saying, "Good job Drakey."
Stella actually did a pretty good job too. Hers wasn't quite as neat, but she didn't care because all she was worried about was getting the frosting and treats on there and then putting it all in her mouth.
Thank you Holly for starting such a fun tradition and for letting us come to your house and make a huge sticky mess!
