Stella's First Valentine's Day

Our Valentine festivities started with a girls night that I hosted at my house.  There are a group of us in the ward that get together once a month at someones house.  We eat food, talk, paint nails, stay up really late and laugh a lot. It has been a lot of fun and I have really enjoyed getting to know some of the girls in our ward better.

Josh and I started a tradition that on Valentine's Day we spend the evening with our kids.  Josh and I try to go out another day that week just the two of us, but we think it is a fun holiday to spend as a family.

We started the day with heart shaped waffles and strawberries.  Drake thought this was really cool and told me he wants all of his meals to be in the shape of a heart.

For lunch we had heart shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

This was Stella's first Valentine's Day and I was very excited for her to wear her heart leggings that I bought for her last year at this time before she was even born.

I had a little photo shoot with my kids, and did the best I could to get a good picture of the two of them. I think they are the cutest kids I have ever seen!

Drake and I went to the ladies I visit teach and to a few friends to drop off some valentine cookies and Drake's Valentines.

My Super Hot Valentine!!

We invited Lauren and Chapman over for our valentine dinner. We had heart shaped pizza with heart shaped pepperoni and green salad with heart shaped carrots, and chocolate dipped strawberries and cookies for dessert.

Drake adores Chapman! He was so excited for him to play with him in his room.

Stella loved the sugar cookies that Grandpa Kevin gave her!

We were lucky to see Grandpa Syd and Grandma Barb on Valentines too!

Valentine's Day ROCKED this year!
